Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is there a dress code?

- Yes! We are asking our guests to dress up with us! The wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors, and we ultimately want our guests to be comfortable. However, we ask everyone wear semi- formal attire to our wedding. This includes cocktail-length dresses or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie, or slacks and a button-down shirt for men. No jeans please!

-Please be mindful that the restaurants on the resort have a "casual elegant" dress code for dinner. This dress code is required for children as well.

2. Can I bring a guest?

-Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests outside of predetermined plus ones allocated via your wedding invitation. Your invitation will specify if we have given you the option to bring a plus one. However, since we are having a destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort, you are more than welcome to bring/pay for additional guests to come to the resort, they will just not be able to attend the wedding festivities. Thank you for understanding!

3. When should I RSVP by?

-When you RSVP, you are only required to pay a $150 deposit/ person that goes towards the price of your stay. The venue requires our guest to pay the remainder of the price of their room 65 days prior to the wedding date to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner. To help us with our planning, we ask that you kindly RSVP by October 1, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by then, we will unfortunately have to mark you as a "no".

4. Are kids allowed?

- Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests outside of predetermined guests allocated via your wedding invitation. If your invitation is labeled "The Golden Family", for example, please fill free to bring your children. If your invite just says your name, unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate them. Thank you for understanding!

5. How long do I have to stay?

-The venue requires each guest to stay a minimum of 3 nights at the resort. We are having a Welcome Party Friday, Rehearsal Dinner Saturday, and Wedding Ceremony/Reception Sunday. You are more than welcome to stay longer if you wish.

6. Transportation to and from the resort?

- When booking, you have the option to pay upfront for your transportation to and from the airport. However, if you choose to do a different service, there are multiple private services available. We have used Thomas Moore Travel multiple times without any issues. We do advise you set this up prior to arriving in Cancun and do not opt for a taxi as they are more expensive and not as reputable.

7. Any additional information?

-Please make sure your passport is valid well before the wedding date. It is a minimum requirement that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months prior to the date of entry or departure to or from the country you are visiting.
